Today, Thursday, 12.03.2020 at 14.04h, we received a message from the City of Hockenheim, Department of Citizen Services, that by ministerial decree all major events with more than 1,000 participants must be cancelled.
It is with great regret, therefore, that we must bring you this news from the city of Hockenheim:
The Spring VETERAMA 2020 in Hockenheim cannot take place due to an official order.
We, together with the Hockenheimring, have been in constant contact with the city of Hockenheim over the last few days to examine all possibilities for allowing the event to take place despite the current coronavirus situation, particularly in view of the fact that it is an open-air event.
All our efforts have unfortunately been in vain. We must follow the official order here. We have been told that we will receive formal notification in the next few days. However, we didn’t want to wait that long to give you the news; we wanted to give you the information in plenty of time, so that you can adjust your planning accordingly.
If you wish to receive the final official notification, please let us know by replying to this mail. We will then send you the notification as soon as we have it.
We will contact you as soon as possible with further information.
Please send us any questions by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
We regret this official decision. For us it is a case of force majeure which could neither be foreseen nor influenced. Of course, our top priority is also the protection of the health of visitors, suppliers and employees.
